Amber is a seasoned enterprise-level sales leader with over 16 years experience in software sales, working across key industry sectors such as financial services, retail, regulated industries, and high tech. Amber is recognized as a top performing sales leader, with experience building and leading national sales teams and a proven track record of consistent over achievement, revenue stream growth, and increased market share. She has completed international work assignments both in APAC and Canada.
Currently Amber is a Global Strategic Accounts Sales Leader at Microsoft. Previously Amber was the Vice President of Sales nationally in the mid-market sector at SAP, leading a national team covering financial services, retail, and regulated industries. In 2017, she was recognized as one of the top 3 performing VPs in mid-market across the US. Prior to joining SAP, Amber was the VP of Sales & Business Development nationally at the Bay Area FinTech start-up, called SoFi. Amber also spent 4 years as a top sales performer at Salesforce, consistently overachieving on sales targets and gaining international work experience with a 2.5 year work assignment in Australia.
She has also held various sales leadership and individual contributor roles within Oracle, where she won numerous awards during her 6 year tenure including Sales Rep of the Year, Top Performer, and MVP. Amber started her career at KPMG as an associate in the Information Risk Management division.
Amber graduated with distinction and on the Dean’s list from the University of Victoria, Canada with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree.
In her spare time, Amber enjoys mentoring students and was selected to deliver a keynote speech to her alma mater, Peter B. Gustavson School of Business, at the University of Victoria, on the topic of rising up to overcome obstacles and achieve your full potential. She was also a member of the Board of Directors at the non-profit organization, JUMA, which strives to break the cycle of poverty by paving the way to work, education, and financial capability for youth across America.
